Top 20 Cycling Tours in 2020

A new cycling year is approaching. We checked in with our travel experts to check out the best rides of 2020. Gone are the days where people only went to Mallorca and then a trip to the Alps, the season is getting longer as riders search for empty roads and early season sunshine. We start our tours in February in Cyprus, one of the hottest places in Europe and also run spring trips to Sicily, Girona and of course the cycling heaven of Mallorca. 

The trend for riding in new places takes us to the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, the Julian Mountains in Slovenia & Corsica as well as summer classic trips like the Raid Pyrenean. Check out our top 20 tours of 2020:

RAIDS: Raids are the classic type of cycling break. One week riding across a mountain range moving to a different town each night. Best types of trip to see a variety of places and get an immense sense of satisfaction at the end.

Raid Pyrenees - Jun to Sep. The original raid. Since 1950 riders have been taking on the 100 hour challenge to ride from Hendaye on the Atlantic to Cerbere on the Med over all the classic climbs of the Pyrenees. A must ride for every cyclist at some point. MORE INFO
Alps Week (Annecy to Nice) - Jun to Sep. The most famous mountain range in cycling full of iconic climbs from the Tour de France. Over 7 days we take on the Roseland, Iseran, Galibier, Izoard, Bonette and many more. A climbers heaven. MORE INFO
Marrakesh & The Atlas Mountains - Feb to Apr. The new cycling paradise. A week of riding without seeing another cyclist and rarely seeing any cars. This loop of the Atlas Mountains starts and finishes in Marrakesh and goes over two 2,000m climbs. An epic adventure. MORE INFO
Dolomites Week (Como to Cortina) - Jun to Sep. One week riding from Como to Cortina in the heart of the Dolomites. Our route takes in some of Italy's best climbs including the Ghisallo, Gavia, Stelvio, Fedaia & the climbs of the Sella Ronda. The best week of riding in Italy. MORE INFO
Corsica Week - May & Aug. As featured in the Tour a few years ago (but without the bus blocking the finish line). Corsica is home to some amazing climbs and glorious coastal roads. A challenging ride but full of beauty.  MORE INFO


WEEKENDERS: Short on time but high on great riding. Our weekenders are all Wednesday to Sunday, 5 days / 4 nights with a mix of classic climbs and amazing local routes. We stay either in one town the whole weekend or 2 nights in 2 different towns.

Stelvio Weekender - Jun to Sept. Our most popular trip. Over 5 days we ride both sides of the Stelvio - arguably the best climb in cycling as well as the Mortirolo / Gavia loop and some great local routes. MORE INFO
Dolomites Weekender - Jun to Sept Two nights in Cortina, two nights in Corvara taking in the best rides of the stunning Dolomites. Over four rides we take in the climbs of the Sella Ronda, the Giau, Tre Cime di Lavaredo and some great local climbs. MORE INFO
Provence & Ventoux - May to Oct. Ventoux is one of the most famous climbs in cycling but the quiet roads of Provence are perhaps even more of a highlight of this weekend. The Gorge de la Nesque and Luberon days are cycling at its best.  MORE INFO
Pyrenees Weekender - Jun to Sep, Two nights in Luchon, two nights in St Lary, this weekender goes into the heart of the Pyrenees with a mix of classic and local climbs including the Tourmalet, Peyresourde, Cap de Long & Superbagneres. MORE INFO
Slovenia Weekender - May & Sep, Close to the Dolomites and sharing some of the beauty of that region. WEEKEND RAIDS: A mix of our weekenders and raids. 5 day / 4 night point to point cycling breaks moving towns each day. A massive adventure over a long weekend, choose between riding from coast to coast in Italy to exploring the best of the Alps.

Italy Coast to Coast - May to Oct. From the Adriatic to the Tuscan coast this 5 day, 4 night tour takes us through the middle of Italy over empty roads with amazing views throughout. We stop in small towns in Emilia Romagna and Tuscany before finishing on the beach.  MORE INFO
French Alps North - Jun to Sep. A long weekend taking in classic climbs in a loop from beautiful Lake Annecy. The route takes us over the Roseland, Iseran, Lacets & Madeleine over three epic rides.
